Kite Encouragement Card

Good morning! Stopping by today to a little Reverse Confetti card full of bright spring colors and a bit of encouragement!

I combined some pattern paper from the fun Pattern Play 6x6 paper pad that released earlier this month, and a few fun angles. I used a sentiment from the beautiful One Day at a Time stamp set - also a new release, and it is back in stock after selling out quickly at release time as well! A kite from Take Flight with some simple Copic coloring and then die cut along with the clouds from the coordinating Take Flight Confetti Cuts finishes this card off!

Here are the Reverse Confetti supplies I used on this card - click on any of the photos to get a closer look at anything:

Wild Safari Love from Unity

Good morning! Dropping by with a couple more simple cards that I watercolored in the hospital waiting room last week using some new and newer Unity Stamp Company releases. Once I got home I die cut these both with a fabulous new die from Simon Says Stamp that just released today - Wonky Rectangles.

I love these sweet animal images - so simple and fun for watercoloring! See the touch of pink that I tucked into a few random parts of this one? I thought it added a fun girly touch!

And then how much sweeter could this one be for a new mama?!?!?

Because I had lots of time, I really took my time to layer bits of color and build from soft washes up to darker ones. I really love how that extra time to play worked out in the end.

Thinking of You - White, Kraft, Black, and Gold

Hello! I'm stopping by to share a card using the Cherish release from Simon Says Stamp that just released! I had fun combining a couple new stamp sets with a couple dies from previous releases for my simple color combo on this card!

I started off with some Neenah Desert Storm cardstock, and heat embossed a bunch of the floral images from the new Summer Flowers stamp set in white. I added some distress inking around the edges with Antique Linen distress ink, then added some splatters of Gold Watercolors and thinned down white paint. I die cut some white Basic Circles to create a bit of a focal point, then stamped and heat embossed my sentiment from the new Thoughtful Messages on a black Basic Banner. I layered them all together, then added some machine stitching around the edges and a few Pretty Pink Posh gold sequins to finish it off. I love how simple and elegant this stamp set can be - so fun!
